Our February Charity of the Month was AID for AIDS of Nevada, and it is an organization that means a great deal to me. In fact, right about now, as I prepare for the April 17th AIDS Walk, my life is about little else.
I know that I have come to you, my crafting friends, for help in the past, but I would certainly appreciate it again.
There are several ways that you can help me reach my goal of $750.
1) You can log onto www.afanlv.org and click on AIDS Walk on the left side of the page. It will give you the option to sponsor a walker. Simply put in my name and you can donate directly to my account on their secure website. I would also be happy to accept checks made out to: AFAN. Remember, it is a tax write-off.
2) You can donate your "treasures" to our annual Trash to Treasure yard sale which will be held on March 19th. Just give me a call and I will happily arrange for a pick-up. Of course, I would love to have you come out and shop too. (Specific details on Meetup)
3) Donate an item for my silent auction to be at the Annual "AIDS is no Game Fundraiser" to be held on March 25.
4) Attend the AIDS is No Game Fundraiser. For a suggested $10 donation, you will enjoy an evening of chili, cornbread, Root Beer and games galore. (Specific details on the Meetup site).
